Will Rogers State Beach
Just north of Santa Monica, Will Rogers State Beach stretches for one and three quarter miles and lies adjacent to Pacific Coast Highway near the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road.
It is a popular beach for swimming, surfing, volleyball, bike riding and skating. There is an abundance of beach volleyball courts along with a children’s play area. Will Rogers State Beach has a reputation for being a quiet family-friendly beach as well as a popular locals beach.
Will Rogers State Beach is the beginning / end of the South Bay Bike Trail.
There is a fee for parking. According to the State of California Parks website--Will Rogers State Beach is one of the few state beaches that do not accept the annual day use pass. On weekends, plan on arriving early for best parking.
