Topanga State Beach
Located at 18700 Pacific Coast Highway at the intersection with Topanga Canyon Road, Topanga State Beach offers swimming, surfing, fishing, picnic area, restrooms and showers. There is a small parking lot with about 100 spaces (fee required--CA Parks Day Pass not accepted) and limited parking along PCH.
Nearby Topanga State Park offers miles of hiking trails, spectacular ocean views and some camping sites. Drive north up Topanga Canyon Road until you see signs for the state park. For more info see the California State Parks website at http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=629.
No pets, alcohol or fires. Lifeguards posted during daylight hours. Wheelchair access to restrooms.
