Paradise Cove

Paradise Cove, recognized as the backdrop for countless movie and television shows, is a private beach in Malibu with a seaside café and small fishing pier.

Remember the run-down trailer Jim Rockford of the ’70’s TV series “The Rockford Files” lived in? Well it was located at Paradise Cove where many scenes from “The Rockford Files” were shot.  Oh, and Gidget of ‘60’s TV fame also spent plenty of time at Paradise Cove.

Fees are charged for parking in the private lot--$3 for the first 4 hours (with restaurant validation) and $25 thereafter for the entire day. While that might seem a bit pricey just to park, consider that you get to enjoy a beautiful private beach steeped in Hollywood history. You can also rent a cabana on the beach which includes food and drink service.
