Hermosa Beach
Hermosa means beautiful in Spanish and visitors agree—Hermosa is one of Los Angeles’ most beautiful beaches. With a 1.5 mile long expanse of flat & sandy beach, Hermosa is perfect for a relaxing day in the sun or other activities like volleyball, biking, skating, swimming, surfing, and more.
Fiesta Hermosa, a popular arts & crafts fair, is held every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend and includes music, entertainment, food court, beer & wine garden including popular micro-brews and a children’s “kiddie carnival”.
The Hermosa Beach Pier is great for fishing or taking a stroll to enjoy the ocean view and is wheelchair accessible. The South Bay Bike Trail runs through Hermosa Beach and continues its way north and south for miles. Showers and restrooms are located near the pier.
Downtown Hermosa Beach with dining, shopping and entertainment is just a short walk from the beach and pier and includes a lively scene with open-air restaurants and pubs.
